Our team at Genesia Girls will be running a Workshop Day for high school aged female and gender diverse students on October 19th , running from 10am-5pm, accommodating around 20-30 students. This event will showcase some of the range of possibilities within Digital Technologies, including 3D Modeling and Animation, Circuits (Arduino), and Web Design! Come along for kai, friendships, and an awesome opportunity to learn more about Digital Technologies.

Q: Do I need any prior experience?
A: Not at all, as all our Workshops will be beginner friendly, so we highly encourage everyone, regardless of your experience to join! You'll definitely learn a lot at this event!
Q: How long is it?
A: The day will run from 10am-5pm. So no early wakeups!

Genesia Girls Create-A-Thon ‘25. Engage in an exciting weekend of challenges, workshops, speakers, and other fun activities, and meet fellow-minded young women and girls in Wellington! Open for all female students in the Wellington region, no experience required.

Q: Do I need a team to join?
A: Nope! If you don't have a team, we'll assign you one - no stress at all.
Q: How long is it?
A: Each day will run from 10am-6pm. So no early wakeups!
Q: Do I need to know how to code?
A: Not at all! We'll have awesome mentors there to support you, as well as workshops and materials to help you upskill. No coding experience needed.
