Genesia Girls Wellington Hackathon 2026
- 11-12 July 2026
Over the weekend of 11-12 July, we brought an amazing group of young women together for the Genesia Girls Hackathon 2026 to collaborate, innovate, and empower the next generation of women in technology.
Across the two days, participants worked in teams to come up with a creative solution to a real world problem that we ourselves are trying to address: How do we encourage and make more girls feel safe to participate in technology? With the guidance from experienced mentors and insights from different speakers, the results were some incredible digital outcomes that addressed the problem through different approaches that each team chose.
